Modern Minimalism.

Having only been open for a few weeks, Simons is quickly becoming a high-profile fashion retailer in the Edmonton market. I was invited to attend their pre-opening media preview back in October, and what I saw truly blew me away. I have been back a few times since and have a way better idea of where things are in the store, and what types of things I know I can find in their different sections. It was like being a kid in a candy store touring their 115000 sq. ft. location prior to their opening, and it left me wanting more. I have fallen in love with their more fashion-forward men’s line along with many of their Simons Maison home furnishing accessories. Clothing selection aside, it is the design of the store itself that makes it a pleasure to shop in – and this careful attention to the overall shopping experience is something that has been severely lacking in our other local, large-scale department stores. I was happy to learn that the company is still family-run and you can see the care and attention that comes from that connection that the two founding brothers have with their company. I am so thrilled that Simons has finally opened it’s doors, and I highly recommend that everyone check it out if you have the chance – especially with christmas parties and gift-giving season fast approaching! Happy shopping!

Thanks so much Allyssa! Yes, we are SO incredibly lucky to have Simons in Edmonton! We are the first store outside of Montreal, and rumour has it ours is the nicest one yet! ;)

I’ve already been shopping for some great spring pieces in their little resort corner of the men’s section that seems to be developing – can’t wait for more!
