Mind/Brain

My Mind Brain

I read in one of my son’s books that when ancient Egyptians would preserve bodies, they would remove all the organs from the body, leaving only the heart in place. The stomach, lungs, liver were preserved in jars. The brain was tossed aside, medical waste believed to be completely useless and unnecessary.

I often wonder if years from now, we will look back at the way we see the brain now and laugh at how ridiculously uninformed we were.

A focus on treating the mind and the body. The physical and the mental. I’m no neuroscientist, but it seems to me that the most recent research suggests there is no differential between the two. Physiology = Psychology.
